DOUGLAS SOCIAL CREDIT.
An announcement appears on page one regarding an address to be delivered in the Opera House on Thursday next, at 8 p.m., on the subject of the Douglas Social Credit proposals. Since, the subject of currency reform is a growing topic in these days of economic depression, all should avail themselves of. the opportunity of becoming better acquainted with this important subject. The speaker who will explain the Douglas Social. Credit proposals is Mr A. E. Robinson, of Auckland, a prominent figure in the movement for currency reform and an able speaker. Mr Robinson will offer a clear and concise application of the proposals which Major Douglas has evolved for the economic rehabilitation of the world. Questions will be welcomed, and. the .Mayor (Mr A. E. Mansford) will preside. 1
