The minimum size of trout to be taken by anglers was the subject of a report, with suggestions, from Mr A. W. Parrot, biologist, to the quarterly meeting of the New Zealand Fresh Water Research Committee, held in Christchurch. One of the most interesting conclusions drawn in the report, which was adopted, is that investigations indicate that no fish, male or female, should be killed until it is three years old.
