(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Sept. 25. Sanson and Ohakea Miniature Rifle Clubs had a good match on the Ohakea range on Friday evening, the seniors finishing level, and Ohakea juniors winning by a single point. Shooting was well up to the standard, and H. McKegney, K. Pearce, G. Richardson and F. Tostevin (Sanson seniors) put on possibles, while H. Hill and FI. Ellery (Ohakea) also gained 70’s. The juniors of both clubs fired remarkably well, Ohakea registering 816, which equals the season’s record for this grade. On the second range Ohakca’s six men only dropped 9 points. Sanson put on 815, dropping only 10 points on the second range. Possibles were recorded by P. Ellery (Ohakea), and by E. Lumsden and K. Lumsden (Sanson). Detailed scores are as follow: —Ohakea A: 11.
