OMINOUS THREAT.
FAR EAST FACTIONS. LONDON, Sept. 23. The Pekin correspondent of the Times says that for the first time since the truce a Japanese aeroplane circled over Pekin to-dav, dropping showers of leaflets containing an ultimatum to General Fang Chen Wu to leave the demilitarised zone before September 26, otherwise the Japanese army would launch a punitive expedition without further warning.
