ARCTIC GEOGRAPHY.
GREICENLAND’S MOUNTAINS. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Sept. 23. The Times’s Copenhagen correspondent says that Dr Lange Koch, who has returned from his Greenland expedition, believes that the chain of mountains observed by Colonel Lindbergh forms part of a much longer chain, traversing Greenland from north to south. He believes that the chain continues under the Arctic as far as Spitzbergen. Dr Koch’s ship travelled to Norsk© Island, whence various flights disclosed large tracts of new land.
