MILSON
(From Our Own Correspondent. MILSON, Sept. 25. The innovation of holding a dance from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. a( a nominal charge only proved most popular, and the first of those functions hold in the Milson Hall on Saturday' night was well patronised. Mr 11. Dewhurst officiated as M.C. Thoso who are learning, or wish to learn, to dance were specially invited, and wore well catered for. Music was supplied by Mr Spencer at the- piano. Mcsdames Poole, Donaldson, and Dewhurst kindly donated the supper, which was served by tho ladies' committee. Many of the patrons from tho usual social evenings were present and assisted tho beginners. Tho enterprise of the Milson Progressive Association in providing an evening of this nature was commended, and appreciation of their action was expressed by those who attended. '
