MEETING AT GENEVA. COUNCIL CONSIDERS REPORTS. REDUCED OPIUM TRAFFIC. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received September 23, 11.45 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 22. Under the Presidency of the Norwegian Premier, Mr Mowinckel, the Council of the League of Nations opened .this morning at Geneva. The session was devoted to routine business, which included consideration of a report on international intellectual co-operation and a report on opium traffic. Satisfaction was expressed at the great improvement in the international situation regarding opium traffic since the operation of the convention for the limitation of the manufacture of drugs in 1931.
