How often has one expressed the wish to be back in the happy days _of childhood ? That wish may be gratified at the Garrison Band dance on Monday when a b'ack to childhood dance is being held in the Band Hall. Prizes for the most original and most humorous drosses aro to bo given while those in ordinary dress will bo fined one penny. Various competitions will bo held, and with an excellent floor and music patrons may bo sure of a splendid night’s amusement. The Central School is holding its annual gala in the beautiful grounds of the school on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 6. In addition to the usual attractions there will be a massed drill display by the pupils of both sexes. Tire public will have the unique oportunity of not only viewing tho display of pupils’ class work which is invariably of a high standard but of see- , ing the pupils engaged in their outsido activities.
