CHURCH SERVICES.
The special preacher for both services at tlie Baptist Church will bo Rov. S. J. Gilbert, of tho Redding Baptist Church. His subjects for morning and evening respectively will bo: “It Makes Me Think, and I Hate to Think,” and “Tho _ Fool Hath Said in His Heart, Thero is No God.” Tho subject for tho morning scrvico at tho United Evangelical Church will be, “Great Revelations of Christ, Revealing His Eternal and Absolute Deity.” The pastor, Mr Wesley Richards, will preach. His subject at tho evening service will bo, “Abraham to the Captivity.” This is in continuance of tho addresses on God’s plan of the ages, in which thero is much interest. The canvas _ chart is proving a groat help in illustrating . tho subjects. God’s matchless grace is displayed in tho unfolding of His purposes despite man’s failure down tho ages. All aro welcome.
