CHILD KILLED
TRAGEDY AT PAEROA. PAEROA, .Sept. 21. The five-year-old child of Mr and Mrs Norman C. Busby, of Cullen Street, was found terribly injured this morning about 11 o’clock, and died shortly alterwards. The child’s mother, Mrs Daisy Busby, was found with her throat injured. She w r as arrested and taken to Auckland by a police car. The woman’s husband is a member of the New Zealand Permanent Staff, and is attached to the Hnuraki Regiment at Paeroa. They have lived in Paeroa for a number of years. There are two other boys in the family, aged 17 and 10 years.
