FEILDING STOCK SALE.
IMPROVED TONE FOR DAIRY CATTLE. There was an easing in fat sheep prices at the Feilding stock sale, this morning, the inquiry for fat wethers being particularly restricted. Good ewes, however, realised values very close’ to recent rates. The tone in the dairy section showed an improvement, good sorts selling well. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: Sheep.—Fat hoggets, 14s, 16s Id, 17s 3d, 18s, 19s, 20s 3d, 22s to 22s 5d ■ fat wethers, 17s 4d to 19s Gd; fat woolly ewes, 16s 6d, 17s lOd, 18s 6d, 19s 2d, 22s to 23s sd; shorn do. 13s 6d; spring lambs, 18s. Cattle. —Springing dairy heifers, £3 15s, £4 ss, £4 15s, £5 5s to £5 10s; heifers in milk, £2 2s 6d.
