FAILURE TO ACCOUNT.
MAN FOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. ROTORUA, Sept. 22. Failure to account for the sum of £33 14s lOd, representing sales of stores at the forestry camp, was admitted by a young man, Ernest Albert Tier, in the Magistrate’s Court. In a statement to the police, Tier said lie had been employed as a forestry relief worker at Kaingaroa at 10s a week, but his wages bad been increased to 10s a day when he took over the store. He admitted taking the money for his own use and said he had lent it to friends on trips to Rotorua, while lie had also visited Auckland. He was committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence.
