HOROWHENUA BOARD’S LOAD. The analysis of the connected electrical load of the Horowlienua Power Board to September 12, 1933, was presented at the meeting ot the board, this week, by the engineer (Mr J..A. Smith), and it showed the following position : j Lighting 1360 No. li.p. Industrial motors 546 3045 Milking motors ' Heating and iron points 4472 3565 Ranges 580 3641 Water heaters ... ... 10-4 64No. of consumers: Connected 4014, applications 4107. . Total connected load - • 12,204 * Representing 641 sheds. APPLICATIONS AND INSTALLATIONS: In liis report covering the period since the August meeting, the engineei stated that 27 applications had been received from new consumers, and oJ for extensions to existing installations, included in which were 3 water heaters, 2 ranges, 4 milking, 9 separator. -pumping and 2 industrial motois. Twelve new consumers and 32 extensions to existing installations had been connected, comprising 1 water-heater, 2 ranges, 4 milking, 5 separator and 3 industrial motors, making a total of 52.984 k.w.
