ECONOMIST AND A GIRL.
, SIR LEO CHIOZZA MONEY FINED. Sir Leo Chiozza Money, economist : and iormer M.P., and minor Minister, was fined 40s and costs at Epsom Police i Court on a charge of assaulting a shopgirl, Ivy Ruxton, in a railway carriage, and 10s for interfering with the comfort of pasesngers. Notice of .appeal was given. Defendant denied the girl’s evidence, and denied that he passionately kissed her face and neck, though he admitted kissing her hands. Sir Leo Money, in April, 1928, was convicted in London of behaving improperly in Hyde Park. On appeal the . conviction was quashed.
