(From Our' Own Correspondent.) OROUA DOWNS, Sept. 19. The following are the scores registered on the range on Monday evening: E. Christensen 138, C. Christensen 138, 3'. Humphries 131, T. Grammar 136, J. Robertson 138, K. Cotton 128, M. Mills 137, H. Rivers 138, D. Funnell 134, K. Hobbs 138. The cup winners for'the week are as follow: —A grade: C. Christensen; E
grade, E. Christensen, J. Robertson and H.. Rivers; C grade, K. Hobbs. A broadcast dance was held at the Oroua Downs hall on Tuesday evening, but owing to the power being cut off through a breakdown at Taikorea none of the dance music from Palmerston North was received. Dancing was carried on in candle light until 10.30 p.m. when the power was restored again, music being played until then by several local people. The dance was then carried on to recorded music. The musicians are as follow: Mrs W.
