KAIRANGA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) KAIRANGA, Sept. 22. Last evening the Kairanga Tennis Club held their annual meeting All* H. E. Turner presiding over a fair attendance of members. The report stated that the seaeon opened last year on October 5, when the members spent a very successful time. The club closed the season with a credit balance. The following officers were elected :—President, Air L. Lancaster; vice-pre-sident, Air 11. E. Turner; secretary, Miss E. Green; club captain, -Mr L. Clark; vicecaptain, Miss B. Alartic; committee, Airs L. Clark, Alisses O. Green, J. Eglinton and Alcssrs G. Davey, W. Cook and R, Alildon. Subscriptions were left the same as last season. It was decided to open the courts on October 4 at 1 p.m., and all kindred clubs were cordially invited to attend. A vote of thanks was accorded the retiring president, Air D. Alartin, and tho retiring captain, Mr L. Lancaster, and was carried by acclamation; also a vote of thanks was passed to the Hall Committee for the use of the hall.
