SPEED RECORDS.
LONDON, Sept. 20. A new Bluebird car is being built for Sir Malcolm Campbell in a secret workshop in the Midlands. It is hoped the new car will travel at 300 miles an hour either at Daytona or on a new track at Salt Lake City. Simultaneously the motor-boat Miss England 111 is being fitted with 2600 horse-power Rolls-Royce Schneider Trophy engines with a view to a dramatic bid for the double speed records on land and water.
