JAPANESE EXPANSION.
Received September 21, 9.10 a.m. KOBE, Sept. 20. The Japanese Press reports that the trade mission which went to Abyssinia last year achieved a great success in selling Japanese goods. The mission also secured a grant of over 1600 acres of farm land suitable for cotton besides a monopoly of the rights of tlie cultivation of the opium poppy. An emigration company is being formed for the exploitation of the concession.
