Received September 21, 1.45 p.m. OTTAWA, Sept. 20. > Tlie Tariff Board has ruled that Irish linens transported to China for semi-processing cannot enter Canada free under the British preferential rates. Under the ruling, which becomes effective in two months’ time, handkerchiefs and tablecloths will be assessed at 35 per cent. duty.
