RELIEF WORKERS.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —In reply to “Citizen” in your issue of the 18tli, I would like to state that lie appears to be very ignorant of the working conditions’- of the relief worker. It is very fortunate for tlie relief workers that their needs are not as great as “Citizen’s” otherwise 16s per month would not go very far in maintaining him, and judging by the amount of intelligence displayed in his letter he will soon be having his job taken by a No. 5 worker. It would be a fine thing for “Citizen” to be on relief, also a splendid thing for his family. Wearing apparel from the clothes drive would be an eye-opener for them.— Yours, etc., PLAIN BILL.
