MINISTRY DEFEATED.
VOTE IN VICTORIA. Received September 20, 10.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, Sept. 20. The Ministry has been defeated by 27 votes to 26 on a motion to adjourn tlio House to discuss the retirement of two members of the Geelong Harbour Trust and the appointment of two others.
The Premier, Sir Stanley Argyle, regards the vote seriously and Cabinet will consider it to-day.
