KING OF IRAQ.
BETROTHAL ANNOUNCED. Received September 20, 8.55 a.m. BAGDAD, Sept. 19. King Ghazi of Iraq has been bethrothed to his cousin, Princess Aliyah, the daughter of ex-King Ali. Political reasons are believed to be responsible for the announcement so soon after King Feisal’s death. Princess Aliyah, who is very beautiful, has spent her life behind a veil.
