TWO PERSONS’ DEATHS

SYDNEY Sept. 17. A shooting tragedy at Tarcutta yesterday had peculiar features. Two are dead—Ronald Haggars, aged 25, and Audrey Stockwell, aged 15, the latter a farmer’s daughter. The police are of the opinion that the tragedy, was a death pact. The pair were sweethearts, and Haggars had been warned to cease his attentions to the girl, who slipped out in her nightdress. Her dead body was found with a bullet wound in the chest. She was propped against a tree with the remnants of a mask over her ey |faggars’s body, with a gunshot wound, was found beside the girl. A string was tied to the trigger of the gun. The wrists of both victims were gashed with a knife or razor.
