RICH GOLD FIND.
ON KALGOORLIE FIELD. Received September 18, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 18. It is reported from Kalgoorlie that two prospectors, Kozul and Mullins, brought in four bars of gold valued at £12,000 from a prospecting area near Mulline, North Ivalgoorlie. The party had been working for nine weeks and this was the result. An amount of 1660 ounces was obtained from a small crushing of 52 tons. The sands yet to be assayed will add considerably to the proceeds. The find has caused excitement.
