EXHIBITION MATCH. LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15. In an exhibition doubles match at the opening of the Pacific South-West tennis championships on Friday, F. J. Perry (England) and J. Van Ryn (U.S.A.) were held to a draw by Satoh and Nunoi (Japan). Perry and liis partner won the first set. 6—o, and the Japanese the second, 17—15.
PRENN BEATS STEDMAN. LONDON, Sept. 16. The German, D. Prenn, beat the New Zealander, A. C. Stedinain, in the semi-final of the Scottish Lowland championship, 6 —2, 6—2.
