TENNIS FASHIONS.
AT WIMBLEDON TOURNEY,
Received September 12, 12.50 p.ni. LONDON, Sept. 12. Both youths and girls wore shorts at the junior Wimbledon lawn tennis competition. There were also young women in all the latest tennis fashions, including divided skirts and backless dresses with thin shoulder straps. The girl champion of Essex, one of the strongest challengers, wore the most noticeable innovation, a one-piece frock ending in pleated shorts.
