LORD GREY’S WISH.
MEMORIAL SERVICES HELD
(British Official Wireless.) Received September 11, 10.40 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 9. The body of Lord Grey of Eallodon was taken from Eallodon to Darlington for cremation this morning. Only relatives, with members of the indoor and outdoor staffs at Eallodon, were present. . , Meanwhile, services were held in Newcastle Cathedral and in Embleton Parish Church, near Eallodon. A special prayer was offered for the peace of the world, which was the wish nearest to the heart of the dead statesman.
