CYCLING MARATHON.
OPPERMAN’S EXPERIENCE. PERTH, Sept. 10. Hubert Opperman cycled from Kalgoorlie to Perth (377 miles) in 25 hours 37 minutes. The ride was one of the toughest he had ever had, he said. The road in places was heavy with sand, and in other places badly scarred.
