THE POSTMEN’S DRIVE.
Assisted by Boy Scouts and motorists, tho postmen of this city _ will engage in a house-to-house collection of food, clothes, furniture, in fact anything which can bo used or turned into money. Nothing will he too large or too small and ample transport will be available. Householders who may intend going out on Saturday afternoon can leave their donations on tho front verandah. All services in connection with the effort are voluntary and there will be no expenses. On many occasions the postman’s whistle has summoned you to receive messages of goodwill, and parcels from friends and if you can help him on this occasion it will bo appreciated. The motto for Saturday is “Help the Postmen to help those in need.” The drive comm slices at 1 p.m. Saturday.
