FIRMING IN CARGOES
PARCELS SHOW ADVANCE
Received September 5, 10.25 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 4. With reports of frost from the Argentina, wheat cargoes were firmer and sellers raised their limits by 3d to 6d for Australians and Plates. Buyers were more interested. Parcels were fully steady at late rates, being 3d in advance. There was a good inquiry for near Atlantic and Manitoba offerings. Futures. —London: September, 22s 9d; December, 23s 8d; February, 24s Old per quarter. Liverpool: October, 6s 5Jd; December, 5s 6fd; March, 5s Bfd; May, 5s 10-Jd per cental.
