SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.
The Garrison Band old time dance was again well patronised last night, when an enjoyable time was spent under the capable direction of Messrs Henry and Booker as M.C.’s. With the floor in good order and the bright music of the orchestra, the evening went with a swing. Messrs Feeney and Winiata played appreciated extras and had to respond to several encores. Miss Parkes and Mr O’Neill were the winners of the Monte Carlo dance. "A dainty supper was handed around by the ladies’ committee.
