The president, in reviewing the past year, said that, it had commenced somewhat badly as in January the club, at the last moment, had been compelled to postpone tho mooting. Some people thought the club had done wrong in this connection, but as it turned out the action had boon providential. Bryant, an old member, had made such an excellent recovery from his serious illness that he had been able to attend tho recent meeting and had also occupied the chair at a recent committee meeting. It was decided to forward a letter of appreciation to the Manawatu Foxton Racecourse Trustees for a donation of £lO 10s. A vote of thanks was accorded tho secretary for his efforts.
