ORION MOTOR CLUB.
The Orion Motor Cycle Club yesterday held their annual competition for the Winter Cup in the form of an afternoon non-stop reliability trial. The run commenced at 2 p.m. from Cuba Street, and the route lav via Ashhurst by a by-route, thence to Spur Road, then by the Zig Zag to Colyton-Apiti Road, then to Colyton, Taonui, Bunnythorpe and return to Palmerston North. The route was a difficult one, about 70 miles being eover•edi. There was a good muster of members, there being 19 riders. Afternoon tea was provided at the finishing post. The results were as follow: —hirst, E. Pasley, Winter Cup and replica, lost 18 points; second H. Banks, gold medal, lost 20 points; third. E. Pink, silver medal, lost 28 points. Other good results were as follow: R. Kendall, 29 points; F. Rasmussen, 21 points; J. Belk, 36 points; \Y. Brown, 40 points; B. Smith, 45 points.
