POSTPONEMENT OF REAHSION REQUESTED.
Per Press Association. AA r ELLINGTON, Feb. 9. A request that the Government hold over the revision of the tariff until after the AVorld Conference was made to the Prime Minister and. Hon. R. (Masters, Minister of Industries a.nd Commerce, by a -deputation representing the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation, Mr Campbell, the president, submitting a lengthy statement. Mr Forbes said he could not answer the questions raised offhand, but . he would give them careful consideration.
