NO INCREASE THIS YEAR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 7. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt. Hon. Neville Chamberlain, stated in the House of Commons that the importance of economy had been impressed on all Government departments. Although it was not yet possible to estimate accurately the ultimate position at the end of the present financial year, he did not think increased taxation for the current year would be called for in any case.
