STOCKBROKER’S PROTEST. Received January 26. 10.10 a.m. PARIS, Jan. 25. The brokers refused to transact business as a protest against M. Cheron’s proposed Budget balancing taxes. The authorities decided to close the Bourse for the day. A great increase in unemployment is expected if the strike continues.
