RESUMPTION OF BUSINESS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, J an . 26. After seven weeks’ adjournment, the second session of the 24th Parliament resumed this afternoon. After the customary tributes to former legislators who have died during the recess the House will adjourn until tomorrow when it is possible the Government will submit an outline of its policy to meet the demands of the economic situation. V BRIEF SITTING TO-DAY. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. The afternoon sitting of the House of Representatives will be brief as it is intended to adjourn as a mark of respect to Mr H. L. Tapley and Mr J. Horn after the resolutions of condolence have been adopted. The Prime Minister informs the “Standard’s” correspondent that the Banking Indemnity Bill will be proceeded with first thing. Its introduction is expected on Friday, when the House will meet in the morning. The Labour Opposition held a caucus to-day.
