PAHIATUA, Jan. 25. Miss F. Badger lias boon spending a few clays in Napier. Mrs 13. IT. Wills, with her daughters Mercer and Yvonne, has left to spend a holiday at Sunnier. Miss Barnard, ef New Plymouth, is visiting friends in Pahiatua. Miss E. Krivan has been spending a few days in Wellington. Messrs E. P. Badger and E. Russell have been visiting Napier. Other Pahiatua residents, who made a short stay were Misses I. Thomson and M. Condor. Mr G. R, Aslibridgo. Wellington, is on a visit to Pahiatua. Mr and Mrs A. Vaughan have been visiting Wanganui. Messrs Russell and B. Mills arc spending a fortnight’s holiday in Napier. Mr Hamish Armstrong, Akitio, is at present an inmate of a private hospital in Dannevirke, where ho underwent an operation. Ho is reported to he making good progress. Mr Godfrey Tnvlor, of Swansea, Wales, who has been .spending a few days with his uncle, Mr G. Godfrey Taylor, left to-day for Napier to rejoin his ship, the Northumberland, which leaves this week for London. Mrs N. Bainber. Park Avenue. Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mrs J. E. Wade, Konini, Pahiatua. Mrs A. Bissct, Mangamutu, Pahiatua, is visiting Wellington. The Alfrodton Rifle (flub fired over the 300, 500. and 600 yards’ ranges with seven shots at each distance. If. Seymour and K. Godiimgh were the,top scorers, with 96 each off the rifle, t.hc former winning the trophy.
