(From Our Own Correspondent.) SANDON, Jan. 25. The team to play at- Feilding on Saturday next will bo. as follows:; —Campbell, Farrow, Burch, Williamson, Griffin, Collin, W. Drow, Murphy, Meads, Lumsdon, Roevo, Anderson. Tho local school will re-open on Wednesday. . .
Matters of detail in connection with tho County emplojoos’ picnic have boon finalised and given a fino day a good number .will be present. Any employee requiring transport must got in touch with the county engineer (Mr H. V. Bond). Hot water and milk* have been arranged for. A good deal of interest is centred on 'the tug-of-war between tho various units cf the county. Last year’s winners (lorry and grader drivers) are confident of again carrying .off tho honours. The trophy attached to' tho event has more than a small amount of sontimontal value, and will be a prized challenge trophy in the years to como.
