AEROPLANE FLIGHTS.
MRS MOLLISON’S PROGRESS. LONDON, Dec. 14. . If Mrs J. A. Mollison maintains tho speed on her aeroplane flight from Capetown indicated by the latest messages through Paris she will probably beat her own outward record. Preparations are being made at Croydon for her reception.
ACCIDENT TO CAPTAIN BERTRAM’S MACHINE. SOURABAYA, Dec. 14. Captain Bertram’s monoplane will be dismantled here and return to Darwin for a fresh start after the record. The whole of the undercarriage was wrecked. The stowaway was John Dodson, aged 20. He as born in Tasmania. He declares he had no special object in the flight except that he was anxious to make a nice trip. He never thought of endangering the lives of the pilots. The police are sending him back to Australia.
