SHIPWRECKED CREW.
GENEROSITY OF MISSION AUTHORITIES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 14. The Melanesian Mission authorities have decided that the whole of the crew of the wrecked vessel, the Southern Cross, be granted full pay up to December 31, and that each man be repatriated to the port at which he signed on at the expense of the mission. Some of tho men signed on in England. It was also resolved that each man be given money to provide himself with necessary clothing.
