SEVERAL CHARGES.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 6. Leslie Cyril McCarthy, jockey and labourer, aged 32, on eight charges of stealing bicycles, two of receiving stolen property and one of unlawful conversion of a car, was sentenced by Mr E. Page, S.M., to two terms of six months, cumulative. The allegation tlrat he forged a document atChristchurch is to be tho subject of a charge there according to a statement by the police.
