RANGITIKEI.
AIARTON, Dec. 3. The Rangitikei cricket competition was continued to-day in inclement weather. Marton played Huntorville and Old Boys met Porcwa, both matches ending in a draw through having to be abandoned due to rain. Huntorville batted first against Marton and scored 205. te highest scorer being \Y. Hayward, who knocked up 63. I. Lynch made 40. and H. Towers 41. Tidy took two wickets for 5, and Mclndoe' two for 13. Marton had lost one wicket for 24 when play stopped. Porewa scored 187 against Old Boys, the best scorers being A*. Duncan (40). Donnelly (22), R. C. Ball (27). Lambert (20). J. Swainson took five for 41. and R. Fullerton Smith four for 54. Huntorville have an unbeaten record so far this season.
