PALMERSTON NORTH HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
Mr W. L. A. Chapman presided over a good attendance at a meeting of the committee of the Palmerston North Horticultural Society on Friday evening. An interesting letter was received from Mr Hammond, president of the Hamilton Horticultural Society, concerning tho recent National Daffodil Show held in Hamilton. The Balance-sheet for the Palmerston North Rose Show' showed a satisfactory result. Votes of thanks were accorded those who had rendered assistance in various ways. As evidence of. increased interest in the show, it was noted that over 100, exhibitors came forward with exhibits. The annual meeting will he held in January.
