RUGBY LEAGUE.
REPORT ON RECENT TOUR. Received October 13, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 12. Reporting to the Rugby League Councilj the joint managers of the Australian-New Zealand tour recommended that the Rules Revision Committee consider the whole matter of the interpretation of the rules as there is a wide divergence of opinion regarding the rules, this being the one disappointment of the tour. The report was adopted. The council decided that the first match of the Australian tour of England be played on the last Saturday in August and the last on New Year’s day. Tests will be played on October 7, November 11 and December 16. No matches will be played a week prior to the Tests.
