YOUTH EMPLOYMENT.
The proposal of the Youth Employment and Welfare Committee to establish a small factory for the supply of kindling wood and the manufacture of simple woodwork has now been carried into effect. The factory is located in the old bus barn, Cuba Street, and the business people of the city have given most generous assistance in contributing waste timber, boxes, etc for raw material. Kindling wood is supplied at- one penny per bundle delivered Boys are also available for messages and odd jobs at a very moderate foe. The committee would much appreciate donations of tools and other useful equipment to assist the movement.
