MANAWATU CLUB ENTERTAINS.. There were four visiting rinks at the Manawatu Bowling Club’s green yesterday afternoon, an enjoyable time being spent. Manawatu lost two games, drew one and won one. The details are as follow: Manawatu (Harvey, Stanfield, Inglis, Barnes, skip) 20 beat Dannevirke (Tyer, Burkenshaw, Foote, Williams, skip) 12: Manawatu (Shand, Robertson, Cockburn, King, skip) 19 drew with Paliiatua (Petersen, Walker, Britland, Hodd, skip) 19; Manawatu (Oxen, am, Benfield, Low, senr., Gerrand, skip) 11 lost to Terrace End (Bee, Simpson, Dixon, Skinner, skip) 25; Manawatu (Low, junr., Gough, Kensington, Carlisle, skip) 18 lost to Northern (bee, Ranson, Kirk, Robinson, skip) 21).
