Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 12. Rev B N. Eade and Nurse M. Livingstone were welcomed home from Bengal at the Baptist Union Assembly this morning. • The assembly adopted the financial statement by singing the Doxology. Dr J H. Rushbrooke paid a welcome’ visit to the assembly and begged leave to submit two greetings from the Queensland Baptists and from Rev. E. Elder, who is in Argentina, Dr. Rushbrooke congratulated the Baptist Missionary Society on its. rffiiievemcnt in reducing its debt during the past difficult year. . . Dr Gharles North moved a motion of appreciation of the services rendered for 30 years in the Chamapur Hospital by Dr.'Amir Hossian.
