AVIATION POSSIBILITIES.
PALMERSTON NORTH’S . ADVANTAGE. “From an instructional, commercial and defence point of view, Palmerston North is an ideal centre for aviation,’ stated the chairman (Mr M. H. Oram) at the annual meeting of the Manawatu Aero Club last evening. “It is eminently suitable, and if we provide the proper impetus this centre will be the first to operate a commercial air service. I think the time is not fai distant when that will eventuate, if we go the right way about it.” The chairman stressed the unique geographical position enjoyed by Palmerston North.
