GLEN OROUA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) GLEN OROUA, Oct. 11. There was a good attendance at the usual fortnightly euchre party and dance held in the hall last Friday night. The ladies’ ouchro prize was won by Mrs P. Bottcher and the men’s by Mr D. Sullivan, while the consolation awards went to Mrs F. Farmer (Wanganui) and Mr H. Robinson. Mr T. Clark was M.C. for the dance, for which extras were contributed by Mr R. Boswell. At a meeting of the social committee, held on Friday evening, it was decided to alter tho date .of the old-time dance to a weok earlier tio avoid clashing with the Rangiotu School jubilee celebrations. The next dance will bo the last of the season.
